There are two floors for the VIP lounges. However, a flipside of all the gaming fun is that the staff at the casino is not well versed in English.
The Casino opened on January 20, 2006 with an opening ceremony that had Jackie Chan as its host. With its opening, the Grand Emperor Casino became the 18th casino to join the ranks of casinos in Macau.
The Casino is a short minute walk from The Grand Lisboa and Casino Lisboa located on the western end of downtown Macau.
The casino’s entrance is something to look out for. There are 78 pieces of authentic gold bars that have been placed underneath the casino's lobby floor. Needless to say, they are heavily guarded all day long.
As you enter the Grand Emperor Hotel & Casino you will be greeted at the entrance by two heavy-built men armed with faux machine guns. The Grand Emperor Macau has cantered its architecture and interiors around the European themes like the famous Buckingham Palace. The rooms are large and luxurious with plush interiors. The Royal, Queen and Emperor Suites are full of intricate hand crafted furnishings.
Grand Emperor offers three dining options. The Royal Kitchen offers 24 hour buffet. The Grand Emperor Court is a classy restaurant famous for its Chefs du Cuisine. The Majestic Lounge provides a continental cuisine with a huge wine list for alcohol lovers.
Grand Emperor Hotel and Casino offers several amenities including a fitness centre and spa, a night club, the Golden Carriage, a business centre, meeting facilities and a splendid shopping plaza.
