When Sands Macao first started, it had just 51 suites and only VIP Rooms were available which were not open for reservations by the public. A second Sands Macao's hotel opened up on September 28th, 2007. This hotel has a total of 289 suites. The rooms have a splendid view of the Friendship Bridge in addition to a spectacular view of the Fisherman's Wharf. All the rooms have a beautiful decor, combined with in room facilities like access to high speed internet, Jacuzzi tubs, flat screen TV etc.

There are seven restaurants at the Sands Macao hotel. The Golden Court is famous for its Cantonese menu. Restaurant Perola offers a traditional Portuguese meal that has a Chinese flavour to it. Copa Steakhouse is centred on the Las Vegas theme. The 888 Gourmet Place is again based on the Vegas theme and it offers-Chinese, Sushi Japanese, and Thai among its many offerings. The restaurant Moonlight Food Market is great for Asian delicacies and includes rice, noodles, dim sums etc. The Winner's Circle is a bar just above the casino. Something to look out for at this bar is the exquisite wine tower. There is a lounge that serves cocktail called Xanadu, which also has live performances.
